Ideal for surf trips
If you're coming for the waves, you're in the right place. We've set Little Beside up with surfers in mind — there's a backyard board rack next to the outdoor shower, and a downstairs wetroom for hanging wetsuits to dry.
Porthtowan, Chapel Porth and St Agnes are all close by (Gwithian's great too if you're up for a short drive). You'll find the Wi-Fi is solid enough for checking forecasts, and we've made sure early mornings are sorted with a proper coffee machine.

Little Beside has two bedrooms, a smart layout, and thoughtful touches that make family stays easy — think plenty of hooks, storage space, and room to spread out after beach days or muddy walks.
There's a PlayStation 4, Apple TV, board games, and jigsaws for rainy afternoons, plus strong Wi-Fi. The wood burner's great for cosy evenings, and the second bedroom gives teens or older kids their own space.
Beaches are all a short drive (with parking nearby), and there are scenic walking trails right from the doorstep.
Perfect for couples looking to switch off
Looking for a peaceful base to slow down and explore the coast? Little Beside is small but beautifully considered. Couples often tell us they love the handmade furniture, the attention to detail in the kitchen, and the quiet.
The enclosed garden is just right for a morning coffee or early evening glass of wine, and you can head straight out on foot into woodland or countryside trails. The house is warm and inviting, with a wood burner for cooler nights and everything you need to settle in and switch off.
Dog-friendly and walk-ready
We love dogs — and we've made sure Little Beside works for them too. The enclosed front garden is perfect for lazy lounging, and the outdoor shower is handy for sandy paws.
There are brilliant walks right from the door — through woods, open fields, and down to the coast if you fancy stretching your legs. Most nearby beaches are dog-friendly outside peak hours (some all year round), and we can always point you toward the best local routes or dog-friendly cafes nearby.
